Class 2011- WIP Update

 With the Class of 2011 graduated, this report is aimed to provide a flavor of the activities, debates and discussions that the students participated in. Many thanks to all of our supporters for their contributions of time, money, support and involvement.

Accenture reclaim 4th WIP Ireland Celtic Cup

WIP’s 4th Annual Irish Celtic Cup was held at the beautiful Carton House, Kildare on 29th August 2011. With this famous “inland links” course in great condition, and the weather (just about) cooperating nicely, a great day was had by all.

In an incredibly tight competition, it was a team from long- time supporters and 2009 winners, Accenture (NI), who walked off with the beautiful Galway Crystal Celtic Cup Perpetual Trophy, commemorative plates and a four-ball at the famous Baltray Golf Club.

Busby Family win 2010 Irish Celtic Cup

WIP’s 3rd Annual Irish Celtic Cup was held at the beautiful Belvoir Park Golf Club in Belfast on 30th August 2010. With this delightful parkland course in great condition, and the weather cooperating nicely (a rarity in a NI summer!), a great day was had by all.

In an incredibly tight but friendly competition, it was a team captained by WIP 09 Alumnus Sara-Louise Busby, who walked off with the beautiful Galway Crystal Celtic Cup Perpetual Trophy, commemorative plates and a four-ball at the famous Carton House Hotel Golf Course in Kildare. Joined by her brother, Peter and family friend, Andy Barnes, Sara-Louise ensured the trophy will reside in Northern Ireland for the next year having been on loan in the Dublin offices of 2009 winners (and our corporate partner), Accenture.
