New York – Youth Leadership Summit

Supported as a Flagship Project of the Ireland Funds

Supported by the Ireland Funds

In 2016 WIP launched an exciting new program in New York.

We are bringing together the city’s best in business, finance, non-profits, government and the arts, to mentor and support the next generation of leaders in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Our New York program challenges our students to think about their future with a fresh perspective and inspires them to develop a career that has a real impact, rooted in the values that will benefit the island of Ireland when they return.

WIP’s Class of 2016 connected with over 50 global leaders during an intense week-long program covering 20 events with New York’s leading thinkers, innovators and influencers.

From rural Ireland to the city that never sleeps – WIP gave me the opportunity to visit New York and get incredible access to this mesmerizing city.

Youth Leadership Summit 2017

In 2017 we are expanding our New York program in partnership with the American Ireland Fund.

Our  Youth Leadership Summit 2017 will bring important questions into focus for our students about their personal and professional development, and the employment market they will be entering. Through engaging with an expanded program of briefings, panels and career workshops in New York, each student will challenged to think about their leadership style in the context of the major global challenges facing the economy and our society.
