In late September, the WIP Class of 2017 shared their reflections after a summer of debates in the US on the economy, issues of identity and managing migration.
They were joined by guest panelists from business, government and the arts – and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD (WIP Class of 2000)

Special Guest: Jake Sullivan, senior advisor through the Obama Administration and to Hillary Clinton.

Each year at our Thanksgiving Ball, we celebrate the exceptional contribution of an Alum and a community member, awarding them our highest honour – the Spirit of WIP Award.

President Higgins praises the work of WIP

Through their involvement in the Program, these young people have forged enduring bonds of friendship with fellow program participants from other parts of Ireland – parts of the island with which they may not have been familiar and people from communities with whom they may never have previously engaged.
