Brenna Byrne

Brenna is a final year student, studying also at Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne University. As a caseworker with the Irish Innocence Project, she corresponds with barristers, combating miscarriages of justice for incarcerated individuals who maintain factual innocence. She also volunteers with Age NI, providing weekly calls to elderly members of the community. Brenna is a self-employed Harpist and Singer, performing at weddings and high-profile events. Additionally, she has played at the Irish Embassy in Paris, the OECD, and the Centre Culturel Irlandais. A 2025 finalist in Trinity’s Mock Trial, Brenna has strengthened her passion for advocacy. As PRO for DU Law Society, and Events Officer for Trinity Women in Law, she has organised various collaborations with other female-led societies, deepening her engagement with women’s rights both within and beyond the law.
